I like mines. They bring a moonlike scenery. Rocks, dust and strange light transport you in a courious world where you don’t know what to expect.
Dear destination wedding photographers, in a world were everydody wants to be different, choose a mine . 🙂
This old sulfur mine is located in Romania’s youngest volcanic Mountains named Calimani. Back in the days people were mining sulfur minerals from the volcanic funnel but now the area is protected by the Calimani National Park. If you want to find out more about volcanos you can check out my Extinct Volcano After Wedding session. But his time this stunning sulfur mine was the moonscape that called me and my grooms to make magic again. Veronica and Radu, acted like stars in a sci-fi movie. They were just walking and loving each other, acting natural. But every step they took, every glance and every hug was a frame from my movie. It’s a love one, like always, because love is found even in the strangest places, like this sulfur mine. The light was my friend, giving me glow and shadows that I could play with. Beyond and surrounding this mine, the pines and the moss of the forest were breathing green. The beautiful Romania strikes again. This country of mine amazes me every day.
