Greek Island Wedding – Alexa & Yanay

Alexa and Yanay began a new road together far away from their home, Israel, on a beautiful island of Greece, Hydra. There is no car allowed on this island and the streets are narrow. The hotel for the guests was an old sponge factory, Bratsera, redesigned for guests. The reception and party had breathtaking view over the sea at Omilos restaurant. The summer, the olive trees, the oleandra flowers, the multinational people walking on the harbour, all this made it a dreamy destination wedding. The dinner before the wedding, the ceremony on the roof of the history museum, the party near the sea, Alexa organized it all like a pro, a beautiful Greek Island Wedding. We were very glad to be part of this stylish destination wedding. We made memories scented with Greece aroma and lots of love for Alexa and Yanay. The landscape and the sunset offered a good background for the two of them to shine their love.

Hydra Island, the perfect  Destination for your Wedding

Widely considered as one of the most beautiful islands in Greece, Hydra makes up part of the Saronic Islands and is one of the closest of its kind to Athens, taking only two hours to get there by ferry from Piraeus. Perhaps the most unique aspect of this stunning little paradise is that there are no cars or motor vehicles on the island, aside from garbage trucks and ambulances. The main method of transportation here are the delightful mules and donkeys, as well as the water taxis. Its rustic beauty has attracted world-famous musicians like Leonard Cohen, celebrities like Sophia Loren and travelers of all kind who seek inspiration. Today, it prospers due to its flourishing tourism and is a coveted destination for seekers of romance and beauty.
